Summer Celebration of New England Quilts 2023 showcases works from the many dynamic quilt guilds located in the New England region. The Supporting Guilds of the NEQM were tasked with selecting one quilt made by a member(s) to display in this biennial exhibition. The NEQM is excited to present this array of vibrant, distinctive and finely crafted quilts.
Visitors to our Summer Celebration are invited to vote for their favorite quilt. At the exhibition’s conclusion, the guild with the most votes will be honored with the opportunity to host an exhibition of its members’ work in the NEQM Genre Gallery next year.
Other Lowell cultural partners within walking distance to the NEQM have joined the celebration by hosting their own free quilt and fiber arts exhibitions. When planning your visit, allow ample time to visit their sites as well.
During this community event, admission to the NEQM is voluntary. “Pay What You Wish” allows everyone the opportunity to learn and find inspiration. We encourage students, seniors, caregivers, those without employment, and anyone deterred by general admission fees to join our Summer Celebration of New England Quilts.
